Graduation (required performance)
Description
- This is our highest-profile performance of the year and a great honor for the program. The graduation performance is a prerequisite for next year's ensemble placement in either Sinfonia or Chamber. All students in either of those ensembles for 2024-25 are required to be in attendance unless they've already submitted and received approval for an excused absence.
- Students are responsible for arranging transportation of themselves and their instruments/music/accessories to and from Ameris Bank Amphitheatre. Music will be collected immediately after the ceremony, and school instruments not signed out for the summer must be returned to the orchestra room no later than 12 pm the following day (5/23- last recovery day for students).
- Plan tentatively on a 5:30 pm sound check at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre; arrival/sound check time subject to change as we get the details from the graduation team.
- We play prelude music beginning at 6:45 pm
- Graduation Ceremony at Ameris Amphitheatre begins 7:30 pm
