Congrats and Next Year Calendar

Good afternoon, Happy Friday, and Happy Summer!
Thank you for an outstanding year! You all are what make this job great- no matter how difficult or tiring the school year can be, I can say at the end of the day that I love what I do!
In case you want to mark your calendars for next year:

Major Events:
Thursday, October 2: Fall Concert (7 pm)
Thursday, December 11: Winter Concert (7 pm)
Thursday, February 5: Pre-LGPE Concert (time/format TBA)
March 12-14: LGPE Scheduling Window- keep available
Thursday, April 23: Banquet (6:30 pm)
Wednesday, May 6: Spring Concert (7 pm)
Looking very tentatively at March 20th for a trip at the moment, but that could change
Optional GMEA events:
August 29: Student deadline All State registration and Fall Solo and Ensemble Registration
October 21: Deadline GMEA- High School Experience (see Mr. Cummings if a potential future music educator)
October 25: District All State Auditions @ River Trail MS
October 28: Deadline GMEA Composition Competition
November 1: Fall Solo and Ensemble @ Webb Bridge MS
January 10: All State Final Auditions @ Riverwood International Charter School
January 24: Inclement Weather Make-Up Date for Final All State Audition
January 27: Student deadline All State acceptance/payment
March 5-7: All State Orchestra in Athens
