Onboarding Process

Welcome, students and families! The Milton Orchestra onboarding process is required for all new and returning students. It provides us with valuable information that is essential for a successful school year. There are several steps in the process listed below. Please review and complete them as necessary and contact us with any questions.

 

REQUIRED FIRST (Due: August 15th, 2025)

 

1. Student Information Form: Complete Here

 

2. Membership Toolkit: Update or create account

  • Start here (or visit miltonorchestra.org > select “Login”)
  • Select “Create Account” or log in if you already have a Membership Toolkit account (used by many other organizations in the area)
  • Add or update parent and student information
  • You will use this account for all of the items under “Next Steps” below

3. Parent/Guardian Information Form: Complete Here 

 

4. Co-Curricular Medical and Emergency Contact Form: Complete Here 

 

5. Annual Orchestra Student Activity Fee (see section in handbook for rationale and other details):

*Annual orchestra t-shirt included with all fees paid by the August 15th deadline 

 

6. Spring Trip Interest/Commitment Form: Complete Here 

 

7. Communication

 

Mr. Cummings utilizes Infinite Campus as the primary messaging system for large-scale group emails.  These go to your default settings in IC (school email for students), so make sure that your delivery preferences are up to date.  Additionally...

  • Directed mostly towards students, but parents are encouraged to join to stay informed
  • Quick, on-the-go, and/or last-minute messages; will also re-post some important announcements/newsletter/emails previously sent another way
  • NOT a group chat- just announcements from Mr. Cummings (you can direct message with questions/replies)

Canvas (academics) and Membership Toolkit (orchestra boosters) are other ways we'll stay connected.

2025-26 8th Grade:

We’d like to start to get to know you!  Mr. Cummings and the Milton HS Orchestra Booster Club utilize Membership Toolkit for newsletters, event registrations, calendars, and more.  You’ll have the opportunity to keep in touch, follow what we’re doing here, and transition seamlessly into Milton Orchestra!
