Onboarding Process

Welcome, students and families! The Milton Orchestra onboarding process is required for all new and returning students. It provides us with valuable information that is essential for a successful school year. There are several steps in the process listed below. Please review and complete them as necessary.  Contact Mr. Cummings with any questions (or reach out to the Orchestra Boosters directly if you need help with Membership Toolkit, payments, registrations, sponsorships, or the Family Patron program).  

 

REQUIRED FIRST (Due: August 21, 2026)

 

Please complete all steps each year:

 

1. Student Information Form: Complete Here (Microsoft Form)

 

2. Parent/Guardian Information Form: Complete Here (Microsoft Form) 

    To simplify things, we've condensed this into just one form for general info, emergency contact/medical, and spring trip interest.  If you have multiple students, you will have a chance to indicate that and only complete once.   

 

3. Create or Update Membership Toolkit account: **YOU WILL USE THIS ACCOUNT FOR ALL REMAINING STEPS**

  • Start here (or visit miltonorchestra.org > select “Login”)
  • Select “Create Account” or log in if you already have a Membership Toolkit account (used by many other organizations in the area)
  • Add or update parent and student information

4. Pay annual orchestra fee and join our (optional) Family Patron Program

  • As a co-curricular class and active orchestra program, the funding we receive from FCS only covers a portion of our operating costs.  
  • In the interest of students’ and parents’ valuable time, we limit fundraising largely to donations and sponsorships. 
  • The annual fee is, therefore, our primary source of program funding and includes your t-shirt, pre-concert food, student events throughout the year, and guest artists/clinicians.  It also helps with shared equipment/maintenance, transportation, music/licensing, and more.

  • Please contact Mr. Cummings with financial concerns regarding this fee so that we can work with you to ensure access for your student.

  • Volunteer!  Visit the Volunteer tab at miltonorchestra.org or find signups under "My Account" as opportunities become available.
